Hello everyone, my name is Monique Perez. I am currently 22 years old and live in the city of Tolleson. I am an AZ native, born and raised, absolutely love it here! Most of my family and friends are live here as well. Although I’m always up for changes I would not mind the experience of living in New York or Florida. I’ve been to Florida, I love Miami but I have never been to New York and would like to go, hopefully soon!! I am a senior at ASU and will be graduating in December! I am very excited! I am majoring in criminal justice/criminology. I enjoy investigation things have done it since I was kid!! After graduation my goals is to one day work for a federal agency, hopefully FBI! I have never worked for any agencies yet, although I have been trying (very hard at this time). I have done lots of volunteer work and while doing that it has definitely opened my mind to the different areas of the criminal justice system. I really hope to be a homicide detective one day.
I am a family oriented person, very loving to others and I like to enjoy life to its fullest. Happy, hardworking, sophisticated, goal oriented, and friendly are just some of the words that sum up who I am. I love to dance; I have been doing it since I was five and have danced for a couple dance academies and taught at a high school briefly. I really enjoy the outdoors and try to do as many things that I can that involve being outside.
I have never really blogged before and I hope it comes somewhat natural to me. J Interestingly, I find it very amusing and fun. I look forward to doing it more often. A little bit about my personal life, what to say? Well, I am engaged to the most wonderful man and we are set to get married November 6, 2010. I have two younger siblings and one older sibling. I have a cat named Tommy who I absolutely adore. I love my mom and dad so much without their love and support I do not know where I would be. My grandparents are my inspiration in life. They give me the push to accomplish my goals. My fiancé is my life he supports me in everything that I do and I definitely look up to him. I hope this semester is a good and wish every buddy good luck and hope to hear from you.

As a native New Yorker, I am biased when I say, NYC is amazing and you might enjoy a trip there. Thanks for telling us about yourself and best of luck this semester! :-)

ReplyDeleteI have an aunt who lives in NY, but I really do not have a reason to why NY drawl’s me. I guess is the fact that I've never been there, and would love to go just to experience it. I say I would like to live there, but my aunt says it’s not the best place. How did you like it? As for Florida, I love the scenery, just not the hurricanes.:)

ReplyDeleteNice to meet you! Where is Tolleson in relation to Tempe? New York and Florida are both great choices (I've lived in both). NYC isn't for everyone though so if you're looking to move there I'd definately spend some time visiting before hand. Good luck this semester.
